Dear Kingdom Builder,

A lot of people have looked at my book, website, and products and assume I’m preaching the “prosperity gospel.”

And while that accusation stings, I understand why it happens.

On the surface, both messages talk about faith, blessing, and wealth.

But the similarities stop there.

The Purpose of Prosperity

The prosperity gospel centers on what we can get from God. It’s really “the love of money” cloaked in half-biblical truths … a theology of transaction rather than transformation.

At Abundant Prosperity, we focus on what God can do through us. God doesn’t bless His people to make them comfortable. He blesses them to make them capable … capable of funding Kingdom work, serving their communities, and blessing others in His name.

Genesis 12:2 says, “I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.”

The difference is simple but profound: Building our kingdom (prosperity gospel) versus building His Kingdom (Abundant Prosperity). The end goal isn’t earthly wealth but rather eternal impact.

The Plan of Prosperity

The prosperity gospel often treats faith and giving like a trick: say the right words, sow a seed, and instantly reap a harvest.

But that’s not how God works.

At Abundant Prosperity, we teach a different path — one rooted in Scripture. Scripture says, “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” (Proverbs 21:5)

That’s why I teach the Give, Gain, and Grow framework …

  1. Give — The beginning of Kingdom wealth. Giving loosens our grip on money and opens our hearts to trust God fully. It’s an act of unloving money.

  2. Gain — Discovering purpose and working diligently — not chasing riches, but pursuing excellence in what God has called us to do.

  3. Grow — Investing and multiplying resources to expand our impact for the Kingdom.

This is not “give and get.”

It’s give, gain, and grow — through a lifetime of faithful action and wise stewardship, so that we can use our resources to spread the Gospel and flood the gates of Heaven.

Abundant Prosperity begins with joyful surrender and ends with joyful surrender.

The Posture of Prosperity

We live joyfully because we know that everything God gives to us, He intends to work through us to build His Kingdom.

1 Chronicles 29:11-12 reminds us, “Everything in heaven and earth is yours, Lord … Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things.”

We are not owners. We are managers of His resources, called to handle them with humility, gratitude, and grace.

Yes, wealth carries the weight of responsibility. When it’s stewarded faithfully, that weight becomes a privilege. It’s one of the greatest joys of life to watch God multiply what we’ve placed back into His hands.

We don’t approach God with open hands to take; we approach Him with open hands to praise, to give, and to serve.

Abundant Prosperity isn’t a posture of pride. It’s a posture of worship.

The Heart of It All

When I started writing my book, Called to Prosperity, I didn’t want the temptation of financial gain to influence anything I wrote.

It was a big-time fear of mine.

Thankfully, the solution was easy. I decided to give 100% of my proceeds to my church.

Later, when forming my company, I made God the majority owner — 51% of all profits go directly to the church. I’m simply the manager. He has the final say.

It’s a constant reminder that Abundant Prosperity isn’t about chasing wealth. It’s about channeling wealth for God’s Kingdom.

When we live with the right purpose, follow the right path, and maintain the right posture, we become rivers through which God’s abundance flows to others.

In 1 Timothy 6:17-19, the Apostle Paul says, “Command those who are rich in the present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth … but to do good, to be rich in deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”

For His Kingdom,
